For more than two decades, October has been National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), and in that time, great strides have been made in raising awareness to fight this disease. One thing we as crafters can do to help spread awareness is to make and wear the traditional pink ribbon. This gesture may seem small, but in large numbers, it can make a difference! Check out some simple ribbon designs from Hot Off The Press on page 35 for inspiration. For more information about NBCAM, please visit www.nbcam.org. For additional information, please call one of the following toll-free numbers: American Cancer Society, (800) 227-2345, National Cancer Institute (NCI), (800) 4-CANCER, Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization, (800) 221-2141.

October also means the onset of fall, and the quickly approaching holiday season. We’ve got lots of ideas for how to decorate your dinner table, package treats for trick-or-treaters, and create tons of cards for birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and more! And, as the cooler weather moves in, check out our Fun & Games section for ways to enjoy your autumn days indoors with friends and family.

Please e-mail or write to us at the address below with the projects you’re making from this issue of Paper Made Easy™. We’d love to hear from you!
